“This is a long overdue review!! My friend recommended Remy when I was asking about makeup artists to help me get ready for my maternity pictures of my first child. I reached out to her way in advance because I wasn’t sure how to go about a makeup person for an event because I don’t wear makeup and my hair is always in a tita bun. She was on it when it came to communicating thru email because I live on big island and the pics would take place in Honolulu.
She was describing makeup terms to me but broke down the lingo for me to understand which I appreciated very much. On the day of the photo shoot she was on time and did the session in a timely manner cause she knew I had to make it across town in half an hour. Thru the session she explained to me what style she was doing and why to my hair and makeup cause the photo shoot wouldn’t be until 4 hours later and how to upkeep it to make it last.
Photo shoot was a success! When I get married (not sure the date yet) in Honolulu I plan on booking with her again to do my bridal party and myself! So grateful to have came across a wonderful artist like her!!!”
