Decisions, Decisions.

Choosing the style of makeup for your wedding can be tricky. Many women want go all out for their wedding day or try something new without considering some other factors. Here are some questions that you can ask yourself or share with your makeup artist to help determine the right look for you. If you have not found your makeup artist yet, answering these will help you find someone who fits the style and look you are going for.

Do you normally wear a lot of makeup?

If not, are you comfortable wearing a lot of makeup? Will you be able to refrain from rubbing your eyes or touching your face?

When you imagine looking at your wedding pictures in 10 years, do you want your makeup to reflect the style and trends from that time? Or would you rather go for a timeless look?

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Night or day?

What kind of photography and lighting are you up against?

What is the general theme or style of your wedding? Formal? Beachy? Bohemian? Etc...

Do you want it to look like you have makeup on?

How long does it need to last for?

These are just a few things that you can consider when deciding how you will do your makeup! Let me know if you think of any other good questions or things to consider in the comments below!
